Harold Frank Hendryx was born on December 20, 1899, in Spokane, Washington. At the time, his father, James Perry Hendryx, was 32 and his mother, Grace Irene Conrad, was 19.  Harold married Varian Alice Lee on February 25, 1925, in Portland Oregon. They were the parents of two daughters, Marie, Haroldine and a son Harold, Charles ("Chuck") Hendryx. Harold (senior) lived in Portland and Cannon Beach, Oregon, and later in life, in Bakersfield, CA. He died on January 29, 1968, in Bakersfield, California, at the age of 68, and was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Bakersfield, California.
